drugs sell.

Our upbringing  tells us that if you do drugs- mix pills, smoke angel dust, snort too much blow, then you are going to be unemployed, homeless and ugly. People will be afraid of you on the streets as you stumble often down streets barefooted, and you will be black-listed from society’s social scale. BUT, here is this girl- Cat Marnell, who carries $3,000 Celine bags and wears Hermes bangles, with a sick LES apartment, all while regularly getting in to that ye’ and lonnggg (nice) trips.  yea, she’s a party in a confetti bottle, struttin’ in $400 shoes and a dirty white tee shirt. I don’t care what you look like, if the NY Post thinks you’re important, than you’re important. way to go Cat, for branding yourself righteously and being as honest as a it can kill you.

It reminds me of that time I went to Coachella with a bunch of kids from the California valley. This girl steph ( i think that was her name), was on all this acid and just freakin’ out. boy she was a fun to observe. she also said she was studying to become a lawyer. You see what generational era we’re living in? We’re far from the baby boomers’ groupthink. Or my grandparents era- they don’t care about recycling and they still tryna “save” the good china.

It’s really about news and conservatives who don’t approve of “hippy” lifestyles characterized by “recreational drug usage.” Who gets to distinguish good drugs ( medically prescribed) from “party” drugs? Is happiness and total euphoria not something worth having? Even if it’s for a few hours…Who says that depression only occurs in some cases, and people who have it can’t be cured with “a night out on the town on 2 mollies.” But the opposite, pill x- that makes you totally boring and transparent. This is exactly why they haven’t legalize marijuana.

we’re living in a society where it can take a lot to make you totally down and out. Big shout out to social media, tablets , smart phones, and commercial cosmetic surgery. Advertising means nothing to us; yet we are walking inspiration boards to many of these high rise executives who will soon be irrelevant- along with the concept of titles. Drug addicts are the new faux pas and it’s true. If it’s not your belief than this rant will be totally offensive to you. And for that, I’m not sorry. #YOLO
